HuurAV has its home base on the Zeeburgerpad in Amsterdam and works throughout the entire city, from the centre to the Zuidas and from the Westelijk Havengebied to Noord. We take care of the complete audiovisual side of an event: the design, the setup, the operation during the event and the teardown. Because we are based in the city, we can often view a venue in advance and tune the technology precisely to the space, the acoustics and the programme.

Amsterdam calls for flexibility. A hall with high ceilings and lots of glass sounds different from a vaulted cellar, and a rooftop terrace with a view has different requirements than a theatre hall. Our technicians take this into account during the design, so that both picture and sound work everywhere.

From our location on the Zeeburgerpad, most Amsterdam addresses are quickly reachable, even when the logistics are challenging. We agree loading and unloading times, permits and the use of lifts or stairs in advance, so that we can work within the venue’s time window. We schedule the setup well before the start, we test all the technology thoroughly and, during the event, a technician stays on hand for operation and supervision. Afterwards, we take care of a tidy and swift teardown, even when it falls late in the evening or during the night.
