Projection Screen Rental

A projection screen brings your presentation, film or live footage to life at scale. We size the screen to the room and the viewing distance, choose a projector with enough brightness for the space, and make sure the image stays sharp and legible all the way to the back of the room.

Large projection screen with bright projection during a presentation in a venue

The right screen size for your room

A projection screen only works when the image is legible all the way to the back of the room. That is where size is decisive: too small and the back row misses the detail, too large and the image no longer fits neatly into the space. We determine the size based on the viewing distance and the room, so that the image is easy to follow everywhere.

A projector matched to the light

The projector’s light output matters just as much as the screen. In a darkened room, projection looks superb, but in daylight you need more brightness. We choose a projector that suits the lighting conditions, and if projection is not ideal, we will honestly recommend a large TV screen as an alternative.

Connected, tested and free of surprises

Nothing is more frustrating than a presentation that will not appear on screen. We connect your laptop or media player with the right cables, check the aspect ratio and transitions, and test everything before your guests arrive. For a full programme, a technician can be on hand to manage the transitions between speakers.

Frequently asked questions

What screen size do I need?

The viewing distance from the back row is what matters most. A rule of thumb is that the image height should be roughly one sixth of the distance to the furthest viewer, so text stays readable. We work that out for you based on the room.

Does a projection screen work in a bright room too?

Projection is at its best in a space you can darken. In a room with lots of daylight we sometimes recommend a large TV screen instead, which stays brighter. We look at your venue and the time of day.

Can I test my PowerPoint beforehand?

Yes, and we recommend it. We connect your laptop or media player and check the presentation for display, aspect ratio and transitions before your programme begins.

Do you handle the setup as well?

Yes. We install the screen and projector, align the image and test everything. Afterwards we come back to collect it all.
