Getting there and setting up from Amsterdam

The drive from Amsterdam to Wijk aan Zee is about 28 kilometres, via the A9 and the N197 past Beverwijk into the village. Outside rush hour we are usually there within three quarters of an hour. The streets in the village are narrow and the path down to the beach cannot be reached by every vehicle, so we agree in advance where we can load closest to the location and how we carry equipment over the final stretch to the beach or the hall.
